GHK-Cu

Also known as: Copper Peptide, Glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine Copper, GHK Copper Tripeptide

GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper complex that declines with age. It is one of the most studied anti-aging peptides, known for powerful skin rejuvenation, wound healing, and tissue remodeling effects.

Key Benefits

  • Reduces wrinkles and fine lines
  • Improves skin firmness and elasticity
  • Accelerates wound healing
  • Reduces inflammation and oxidative damage
  • Promotes hair growth and thickness
  • Supports collagen and elastin production
  • May improve overall skin health and appearance
  • Resets aged fibroblast behavior
  • Anti-fibrotic — reduces scar tissue formation

Mechanism of Action

GHK-Cu activates tissue remodeling by modulating gene expression, promoting collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, and enhancing angiogenesis. It influences over 4,000 human genes, shifting many toward a younger gene expression pattern. It also has potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, and may 'reset' aged fibroblasts to behave more like younger cells.

Dosing Protocols

Injectable Protocol

Dose
1–3 mg
Frequency
3–5 times per week
Timing
Any time; subcutaneous
Cycle
8–12 weeks

Injectable form may cause brief stinging ('post-injection bite') at site. Mixing with BPC-157 may reduce discomfort for some users.

Topical Protocol

Dose
0.5–3% concentration
Frequency
Once or twice daily
Timing
After cleansing, before moisturizer
Cycle
Ongoing

Use in serums or creams. Consistency is key for visible results. Widely available in skincare products.
