Starting Your First Protocol
Planning, tracking, and adjusting
Choose your compound wisely
Start with a single compound so you can clearly attribute any effects or side effects. Research thoroughly using the Compound Wiki and community reviews. Popular starting compounds include BPC-157 for recovery, semaglutide for weight management, or testosterone cypionate for TRT.
Get baseline labs
Before starting anything, get comprehensive bloodwork done. This gives you a reference point to measure changes against. At minimum: complete metabolic panel, lipid panel, hormone panel, and CBC. Record these in the Lab Work section.
Without baseline labs, you can't objectively measure what a compound is or isn't doing for you.
Start low, go slow
Always begin at the lower end of the dose range. You can increase later — you can't un-inject a dose. Give each dose level at least 2-4 weeks before adjusting. Track your daily check-ins consistently so you can spot trends.
Track everything
Log every dose, complete daily check-ins, and note any side effects. The more data you collect, the better the app's correlation insights become. After 2-4 weeks of consistent tracking, check your Correlation Insights to see how the compound is affecting your metrics.
When to adjust or stop
If side effects are intolerable, stop and consult your healthcare provider. If you see no effect after a full recommended cycle, reassess your approach. The app will nudge you to do a Protocol Check-In after 2 weeks, which is a good time to formally evaluate how things are going.
