Staqk ("we", "our", or "us") built the Staqk app as a personal health tracking tool. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using Staqk you agree to this policy.

1. What we collect

We collect only what's needed to make the app work.

Account data (cloud-synced users only)

Email address and display name — provided during sign-up
OAuth identifiers from Apple Sign In or Google Sign In

Health & tracking data

Protocol details (compound name, dose, frequency, schedule)
Dose logs (amount, unit, injection site, timestamp, notes)
Daily check-in responses (mood, energy, sleep, and other metrics you choose to track)
Body weight logs
Lab work entries (values and dates you manually enter)
Inventory records (vials, reconstitution logs)

Progress photos

Photos are stored on your device only using the device file system
Photos are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party service
Deleting the app permanently removes all stored photos

App usage data

Feature engagement flags stored locally on-device (e.g. which features you've used) — not sent to our servers
Subscription and purchase status via RevenueCat (see Third Parties below)

2. How your data is stored

Staqk is local-first. All data is written to an on-device SQLite database first. If you create a cloud account, this data is synced to our secure cloud database via PowerSync so you can access it across devices and prevent data loss. Local-mode users' data never leaves their device.

On-device: SQLite database managed by PowerSync
Cloud (if signed in): PostgreSQL database hosted on Azure, encrypted at rest and in transit
Backups: Cloud data is backed up regularly. Local-only data is your responsibility

3. How we use your data

To provide and improve the Staqk app
To sync your data across your devices (cloud accounts only)
To process subscription payments via RevenueCat
To send optional push notifications for dose and check-in reminders — only if you grant permission

We do not use your health data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the app.

4. Third-party services

We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use advertising SDKs or analytics tools that profile you.

5. Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the app: Profile → Delete Account. This permanently and irreversibly deletes all your data from our servers within 30 days. On-device data is removed when you uninstall the app.

6. Children's privacy

Staqk is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your data (available in-app via Profile → Export Data)
Withdraw consent at any time

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of Staqk after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
