Larazotide acetate is an 8-amino acid peptide (Gly-Gly-Val-Leu-Val-Gln-Pro-Gly) derived from Zonula Occludens Toxin (ZOT) of Vibrio cholerae. Vilon is a synthetic dipeptide (Lys-Glu) derived from the thymus gland extract Thymalin.
